Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theater company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. In her role, she is usually the director of her group Her first directorial role was in SSC King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her roles include several other series apart from acting. The daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised with two of her brothers at Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school that she chose to attend. It was where she played cheerleader. The school she attended was Pomona College. On a personal note Post was earlier was married to Stephen Knox. Since 1982 she has been engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with whom she has two daughters. Post's performance as an actor, wife and mother is admired by many.
