Swift had a passion for music from an early age. Swift quickly rose up the ranks, starting as a child actor and eventually singing in front of a large crowd. Swift started writing songs when she was 11. She performed The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers NBA game. Swift was inspired to compose her own songs by the music of country category, like Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift's family relocated into Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of 13, so that she could spend more time exploring popular country music labels in Nashville.
