Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st October 1995 in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actress, known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento began her career as an actor at the age of nineteen in Rome. She is part of a family that also includes a number of filmmakers. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. This collaboration won her an award from the David diDonatello and a Grolla oro. Asia took up directing as a career in 1994. She produced two shorts, one of which was De Generazione. The following year, 1996, Asia made a document about her father. In 1998 was the year that Asia produced a feature film on Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), which was recognized with an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia made her debut as a director in 1999 when she directed Scarlet Diva. The film was also the main screenwriter and actor. In May of 2000, the film was released throughout the world. The film received an award at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York.
